Our newly developed Shopify App Pallet Rack Configurator revolutionizes the shopping experience in Regalbedarf.com's Shopify store. Customers no longer have to painstakingly click through the entire range, but can directly enter the exact dimensions and requirements for their individual pallet rack. The Shopify configurator, specially developed for the KENO rack system, allows for easy assembly of frames and beams based on various parameters such as length, width, depth, and number of levels.

With the app, warehouse owners can effortlessly configure their required racks and ensure that they fit perfectly into their space. The configurator not only displays the height, width, and depth of each rack in real-time but also informs about the maximum load capacity and height of each pallet position. During the configuration process, the current price for the shelf is continuously displayed and automatically adjusts with each change.

After completing the shelf, customers can create a detailed PDF quotation. This PDF contains an overview of all the parts required for the desired shelf, including each individual price, the final price, and a screenshot of the designed shelf. This quotation feature is not only convenient for customers but also serves lead generation by forwarding the quotation directly to the shop owners.

Technology

The configurator is embedded as a theme extension in the Shopify theme of our customer Regalbedarf and can be flexibly moved inside page templates as a block. The frontend app is developed with Next.js, while the backend, which is responsible for creating and sending the offer PDFs, is built with Nest.js.
